I’m currently co-hosting the podcast Adam & Ben (New & Selected), a weekly analysis of the films of Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler. Here are our latest episodes:
Here’s a showreel of my previous work:
I’ve been making podcasts since the age of 11, including producing 250 episodes of something called ‘The JL Show’ when I was in school. I drove my friends nuts.
In the year after I finished school, I produced and co-hosted Monday Music Library, a weekly morning show on Galway’s FlirtFM. FlirtFM is broadcast across FM airwaves in Galway and the show’s listeners included commuters and parents, as well as students.
Co-hosted by my friend Killian Byrne, Monday Music Library was a fast-paced entertainment show featuring a mix of great music (ranging from Joni Mitchell to Orville The Duck) and insightful discussion. Myself and Killian welcomed guests in studio including Galway band The Vibe, who debuted their single “All The While” live on the show.
More recently I hosted the film podcast Where’s The Damn Sequel?!, with each episode discussing a Hollywood movie that tried and failed to kick off a franchise. I invited a different guest on every week which kept things fresh and interesting for listeners.
From 2018 to 2020 I spent two years as Podcast Editor for The College View newspaper, producing three podcasts — focused on News, Arts and Sports — every fortnight with student journalists discussing their recent stories in a roundtable format. The news podcast was nominated for a Hybrid Student Media Award in 2019.

From 2015 to 2017, I co-hosted The 99% Podcast with my friend Michael McAndrew. The 99% featured interviews with a variety of notable figures, including renowned DJ Sven Hansen-Løve, anti-monarchy activist Graham Smith, Willy Wonka actor Rusty Goffe and animator Shane Barbera.
Other podcasts I have produced include Reverse Economics, Front Seat Cinema, Ostracise This and Most Unparliamentary Language.
